Its not very often that I have sessions for 13 year olds, nor 13 year olds in a band! I photographed Robbie and his crew a couple of years ago on his 10th birthday when his band had  limo to carry them around town for photos! This was a really fun session.

I am pleased to share this sneak peek of photos from the wedding day of the new Mr. and Mrs. Saunders!  Heather and Eric had a beautiful scene for the beginning of their married life at historic First Presbyterian Church in Springfield.  The aisle was lined with twinkling candles and rose petals, and the ladies wore long navy dresses and carried mixed bouquets of white and purple.  Heather looked stunning in a full ball gown and completely stole the show.  After the ceremony, the bride and groom made a special getaway in a horse drawn buggy.

We found a great vantage point at the new state Capitol for bridal party moments, including the refreshing site of fountains (it was really warm), and captured some great memories for the bride and groom.

The reception was at Camelot on the south side of Springfield, and provided a great venue for many special moments, including Heather’s dad serenading her with a special song he wrote for the occasion.  Dinner was illuminated with glowing centerpieces and the background music was eclectic and very telling of Eric and Heather’s personalities.

I was very excited to share this special day with them, and hope you enjoy this peek at the great memories. Please sign up to be notified when all photos are ready, so you can see the rest!
